Robert J. Sullivan Fund Announces $9,000 Grant Cycle
Sayre, PA. –The Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers (CFTT) is currently accepting grant applications for the Robert J. Sullivan Fund, a competitive grant-making program funded through the legacy of Robert J. Sullivan a former resident and businessman from Bradford County, PA.
The Robert J. Sullivan Fund, one of several grant programs administered at CFTT, is to strengthen communities and improve the quality of life in Bradford County through assisting local non-profits attain their missions. There is $9,000 available to grant.
CFTT supports a wide variety of projects, but the Robert J. Sullivan Fund does restrict itself to organizations located in or providing services to residents of Bradford County, classified as nonprofit charitable organization under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code; or publicly supported organizations such as school districts and municipalities.
The application process for the Robert J. Sullivan Fund grant program has changed. Applications must now be completed and submitted directly through our website. David & Carol Keeffe Youth Fund Announces $2,550 Grant Cycle
In 2007, the Bradford County Bar Association partnered with the Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers to establish the David & Carol Keeffe Youth Fund that provides funding for support improving outcomes for youth from birth through career readiness, benefiting Bradford County, Pennsylvania residents’ quality of life and economy.
This fund honors the memory of the longtime residents. David was a well-respected attorney, and Carol was known for her love of children.
The amount available to grant is $2,550 for the support of youth and family programming.

Bill and Sarah Ransom Community Service Award Announces $800 Grant Cycle
The Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers (CFTT) is currently accepting nominations for the Bill and Sarah Ransom Community Service Award. This prestigious award honors individuals in the “Valley Area” (Waverly, NY; Sayre and Athens, PA) who exemplify the extraordinary spirit of service demonstrated by Bill and Sarah Ransom. Recipients of this award are recognized not only for their significant volunteerism but also embodying the values of integrity and sustained service. It is one of the most meaningful civic honors in the valley area. As part of the recognition, the honoree will select a local nonprofit organization to receive a grant in their name, extending the impact even further. This is an opportunity to celebrate those who lead quietly but powerfully, whose efforts have made a lasting difference in the lives of others and in the vitality of our shared community.
