Doing Good in Sullivan County

No one knows a community better than the people who call it home.

That’s what makes the Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers so effective. We leverage this knowledge to make tangible differences in the lives of our neighbors.

This approach with a central office in Sayre, PA unites the best thinking of local leadership with efficient, centralized resources to mobilize philanthropy for the enduring benefit of our communities.

A permanent endowment fund and scholarship funds have been established, through which only the annual earnings are used for projects. As the endowment grows, so will our quality of life for families today and future generations. A volunteer advisory board works actively to increase charitable giving and award grants to worthwhile organizations that are addressing the emerging needs and future opportunities in our community.
