Bill and Sarah Ransom Community Service Award Opens 2025 Nomination Cycle
Sayre, PA – The Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers (CFTT) is currently accepting nominations for the Bill and Sarah Ransom Community Service Award. This prestigious award honors individuals in the “Valley Area” (Waverly, NY; Sayre and Athens, PA) who exemplify the extraordinary spirit of service demonstrated by Bill and Sarah Ransom.
Recipients of this award are recognized not only for their significant volunteerism but also for embodying the values of integrity and sustained service. It is one of the most meaningful civic honors in the valley area. As part of the recognition, the honoree will select a local nonprofit organization to receive a grant in their name, extending the impact even further. This is an opportunity to celebrate those who lead quietly but powerfully, whose efforts have made a lasting difference in the lives of others and in the vitality of our shared community.
The application process has changed this year. All nominations must now be submitted online through the CFTT website.
Deadline: Nominations must be submitted by Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
Help us recognize the unsung heroes among us, those whose dedication strengthens the fabric of our shared community.
