Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers Announces 2024 Grant Opportunities

The Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers (CFTT) is currently seeking applications for the 2024 grant year. We have many grant opportunities available for Non-Profits Serving Bradford, Potter, Sullivan, Tioga County, PA and Tioga County, NY Residents at the Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers

The deadlines for filing an application vary, please check the website for grant deadlines amd additional information. The 2023 grant recipients must have completed their grant report before a new application.

Floyd Hooker Youth Fund Announces $20,500 Grant Cycle
The Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers (CFTT) is seeking applications for grants that will benefit the youth of Tioga County, New York. These grants will be awarded from the Floyd Hooker Youth Fund at the Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers. The 2024 amount available to grant is $20,500. This is open to governmental or non-profit organizations that benefit the youth of Tioga County, NY. Floyd Hooker was a resident of Owego, NY who dedicated a portion of his estate to benefit the children and youth of Tioga County. This fund is an endowment fund held at CFTT and should not be confused with the Floyd “Vic” Hooker Foundation. The deadline for filing an application is Thursday, October 10th by 5:00 PM. The 2023 grant recipients must have completed their grant report before a new application will be considered.

 

Robert J. Sullivan Fund Announces $7,600 Grant Cycle
The Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers (CFTT) is currently accepting grant applications for the Robert J. Sullivan Fund, a competitive grant-making program funded through the legacy of Robert J. Sullivan a former resident and businessman from Bradford County, PA. The Robert J. Sullivan Fund, one of several grant programs administered at CFTT, purpose is to strengthen communities and improve the quality of life in Bradford County through assisting local non-profits attain their missions. There is $7,600 available to grant. CFTT supports a wide variety of projects, but the Robert J. Sullivan Fund does restrict itself to organizations located in or providing services to residents of Bradford County, classified as nonprofit charitable organization under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code; or publicly supported organizations such as school districts and municipalities. Applications for the Robert J. Sullivan Fund grant program will be accepted via email through Thursday, September 19th, 2024, at 5:00 pm. The 2023 grant recipients must have completed their grant report before a new application will be considered.

 

David & Carol Keeffe Youth Fund Announces $2,175 Grant Cycle
In 2007, the Bradford County Bar Association partnered with the Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers to establish the David & Carol Keeffe Youth Fund that provides funding for support improving outcomes for youth from birth through career readiness, benefitting Bradford County, Pennsylvania resident’s quality of life and economy. This fund honors the memory of the longtime residents. David was a well-respected attorney and Carol was known for her love of children. The amount available to grant is $2,175 for the support of youth and family programming. Applications for the David & Carol Keeffe Youth Fund grant program will be accepted via email through Thursday, September 19th, 2024, at 5:00 pm. The 2023 grant recipients must have completed their grant report before a new application will be considered.

 

Bill and Sarah Ransom Community Service Award Announces $600 Grant Cycle
The Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers (CFTT) is currently accepting nominations for the Bill and Sarah Ransom Community Service Award. This award recognizes individuals in the “Valley Area” (Waverly, NY; Sayre and Athens, PA) who embody the Ransoms’ dedication to community service. The award recipient will select a local charity to receive the award money. Applications for the Bill and Sarah Ransom Community Service Award are due by Thursday, September 12th, 2024.

 

Northeastern Potter Economic Development Association (NEPEDA) Fund Announces $1200 Grant Cycle
The Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers, through its Northeastern Potter Economic Development Association (NEPEDA) Fund, seeks proposals from non-profit 501 (c)3 organizations or charitable programs in the Northeastern region of Potter County. This includes Allegany Township, Bingham Township; Harrison Township; Hector Township; Genesee Township; and Ulysses Borough and Township. Applications will be reviewed with a focus on enhancing the quality of life in Northeast Potter County. Some of the key areas the selection committee is looking to be addressed are job creation & retention, strategic planning initiatives, and community promotion/awareness. Knoxville Fund Announces $4300 Grant Cycle
The Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers, through its Knoxville Fund, seeks proposals from non-profit 501 (c)3 organizations or charitable programs who serve the citizens of Knoxville Borough, Tioga County, Pennsylvania. The total amount available to grant is $4,300. The Knoxville Fund was established in 2017 to provide support for charitable, scientific, or educational purposes to non-profit organizations including 501(c)(3) agencies who serve the citizens of the Borough of Knoxville, Tioga County, Pennsylvania. Applications are due Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 5pm. The 2023 grant recipients must have completed their grant report before a new application will be considered.

The Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers serves Bradford, Potter, Sullivan, and Tioga Counties in Pennsylvania and Tioga County, NY.
