Investing in the Future: CFTT Offers More Than $180,000 in Scholarships for 2026 Graduates

Sayre, PA — In 2025, the Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers (CFTT) awarded over $180,000 in scholarships to 99 local students across the five counties we serve: Bradford, Potter, Sullivan, and Tioga counties in Pennsylvania, and Tioga County in New York. With 59 scholarship funds currently managed, and new ones added each year, CFTT continues to expand opportunities for students in our region.

These scholarships are open to high school seniors planning to pursue post-secondary education, whether at a four-year college or university, community college, or two-year trade or technical program. Each scholarship reflects the unique priorities of the individual, family, or organization that established it, offering support tailored to students’ talents, goals, and interests.

Scholarships are more than financial assistance; they open doors for students who might otherwise face barriers to higher education. By helping cover tuition, books, and living expenses, they make college and vocational training more attainable and help reduce the burden of student debt.

In addition to easing financial challenges, scholarships honor students’ dedication and achievements, motivating them to continue striving for success. Investing in education today helps build a stronger community tomorrow, fostering a skilled and empowered workforce ready to contribute and give back.

The following scholarships are available to students in Sullivan County, Pennsylvania, for the 2026 fall semester. These awards offer valuable support to help students take the next step in their education and bring their academic aspirations within reach.
